About Us
The Barefoot Bride
The Barefoot Bride was founded in 1966 in Fair Haven, NJ by a special woman named Bette Blanc. Originally, the store was not always just bridal, but also included “off the rack” formal women’s and children’s wear. In the early 1990’s, Betty sold the store to a new owner who offered a very extensive selection of women’s vintage consignment clothing and bridal, including bridesmaid dresses, accessories, shoes and even sometimes tuxedos.
The current owner purchased The Barefoot Bride in 2006 and turned it into the intimate and friendly bridal salon it is today. After five years of business in Fair Haven, she moved the store to her dream location at 65 Monmouth Street in Red Bank. She wanted to revamp the store and give it a more boutique selection with a warm family-like feel. Additionally, The Barefoot Bride now offers custom wedding planning services! Brides can choose from full wedding coordination packages or simply “day of” services and anything in between.
As of late 2020, we are thrilled to announce that we launched an online shop called Just go Barefoot in order to provide more options for all of customers. You can visit us at justgobarefootnj.com.
